Schär searches three online-affine travellers for a gluten-free journey through Italy on August 2016. The three travellers will be detected using a public application process. During the journey, the travellers will spend the nights in selected Schär Glutenfree Holidays Hotels and use the Schär GlutenfreeRoads app to find gluten-free shops or restaurants.

The “job” for the travellers will be to capture and share the different expressions and experiences during the journey using social media, the own blog, YouTube and so on. 

The community will vote for the most engaging traveller and the most creative post on social media. The best voted traveller and the traveller with the highest voted post will win a valuable prize.
 

Every traveller will go on holiday separately, but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be a Glutenfree Summer party someday during the journey with all three travellers.

You should be communicative and experienced in the online-media environment, be at least 21 years old, and hold a valid driver’s licence for Italy (European Union). Be creative, be yourself and show us and the gluten-free community that you are the right traveller for the gluten-free journey.

The journey will last from 1^st to 31^st August 2016.

Flexibility is a priority. Therefore, we can only consider candidates who hold a valid driver's licence for Italy (European Union).

Excellent, that’s a great start. You don’t need to have prior experience. All you need to do now is convince the gluten-free community and the Schär Panel of Experts of your application on social media.

Sure, Schär Glutenfree Summer is an international project and we appreciate to have as many different languages and cultures as possible. Therefore, apply with the language you are the most familiar with.

Yes, you can also participate if you are not celiac or gluten sensitive. But be aware that you will eat a lots of yummy gluten-free food during your journey. Nevertheless, you should have some basic knowledge and interest on the subject of healthy nutrition and be familiarized with gluten-free food.

Your application should contain a public contribution on a social network of your choice. The content and the type of the application is up to you. Be creative and convince us and the gluten-free community that you are the right person for the journey. The voting on the glutenfreesummer.com page and the reactions on your post will greatly improve your chances with the Schär Panel of Experts.

The number of likes and shares on the application post will be highly considered in terms of the candidate selection. But please be aware, that the final decision will be made by the Schär Panel of Experts.

Every applicant will be informed individually about the application process and we will let them know if the application is successful or not. Successful candidates will be informed within 2 weeks of the deadline - May 31^st 2016.
If you are in the shortlist of candidates, you will be invited to a personal or a skype interview with the Schär Panel of Experts during the first weeks of June 2016. The final decision will take place at the latest June 30^th 2016.

You only have to bring your creativity and your passion for travel. Overnight accommodation is provided by our Schär Glutenfree Holidays partner UNA-Hotels. Autocity will be providing the hire car for the whole month. Furthermore, Schär will provide you with 2.500€ of pocket money for your expenses during the journey.

Sure, feel free to bring a friend along with you. But please be aware that your friend has to pay for their own expenses, because the pocket money is just for the gluten-free traveller.

The prize is a tablet and a laptop kindly provided by our partner Acer along with a smartphone provided by our partner Sony Mobile.

The Schär-staff will be at your disposal 24/7 to straighten out any unforeseen problems you might face during the journey.
